Acerca del evento

This series of four class dates offers an opportunity to build skills for our lives and futures. These classes are best for individuals 16 and older and are helpful for those with poor money skills, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

In each class, we will discuss and work through some of the most basic concepts of money, it’s use, and how to manage it. The goal of this class series is to provide participants with knowledge and tools to help build their foundational understanding of money so they can continue to develop these skills on their own.

Wednesday, May 10 – Money: What is it? / 10 am - Noon at Steelyard Coffee

Wednesday, May 24 – Money: How is it used?  / 10 am - Noon at Steelyard Coffee

Wednesday, June 14 – Money: What is a budget?  / 10 am - Noon at Steelyard Coffee

There will be a reward for those who attend all sessions and complete the work!

The Steelyard Café has an accessible entrance for all participants. They offer a menu of drinks and food items you can purchase to enjoy a drink or snack while we meet.

There are a limited number of spots available for this class series to ensure participants get the opportunity to ask questions and receive the support they need to understand each topic.

The cost to attend this class series is $25 per participant. (Caregivers may attend for free but need to register for a free caregiver ticket so we know how many people total will be in attendance.) This registration fee will cover your attendance to all 4 classes and is used to cover the cost of the learning materials that will be provided during the class.
